Ajudar o touro a encontrar o caminho
Apesar disso, acabou
ficando. Precisava do emprego e, afinal, havia trabalhos piores na fazenda.

Requiescat in Pace - Chronicles of the City of the Die - Prelude
It was done! After a long and
tiring process, which included several interviews, psychometric testing,
medical examinations and negative debit certificates with the police and
justice, I received confirmation that I had been admitted to the new job. The interviewer
gave me the news in a way that made me think that I had won the lottery. Still
not knowing how I should feel, I responded to her smile. It was another
underemployment in my life, but absurdly necessary.
— Welcome to our
"family". — She said with that strange and impersonal way that seemed
to contradict the meaning of the welcome phrase. In fact, she cared little and
I didn't care, either, so it was okay. This did not prevent me from imagining
myself squeezing the woman's neck until her eyes popped out of their sockets.
It was just imagination, of course. Just a fleeting thought to make up for my
low self-esteem. She seemed so well adapted to the rules of this
petty-bourgeois world, that perhaps she could never have imagined what was
going on in the head of someone who was sitting there, in front of her. Anyway,
the reality is this. Dropping out is not a viable option, unless you change
your planet or give up existing.

Requiescat in Pace - Capítulo I
O tempo mudou completamente no plantão seguinte. A noite apresentava um céu
estrelado, com a lua crescente no horizonte a contemplar a escuridão. Devo
literatura para leitura on line. A

Trevas - Lord Byron
I had a dream
it was not a dream at all
The splendid sun was extinguished
and the stars wandered dark
through eternal space
without rays or routes
and the icy land
swirled blind and gloomy in the moonless air
Tomorrow has come and gone
came and did not bring the day
and men forgot their passions
in the horror of this desolation
and hearts have cooled
it was not a dream at all
The splendid sun was extinguished
and the stars wandered dark
through eternal space
without rays or routes
and the icy land
swirled blind and gloomy in the moonless air
Tomorrow has come and gone
came and did not bring the day
and men forgot their passions
in the horror of this desolation
and hearts have cooled

Requiescat in Pace - Crônicas da Cidade dos Mortos
Prelúdio
Estava feito!
admitido no novo emprego.

Janelas
My soul has many windows, where I can look.
Some have a reflection of a past time,
memories that I don't want to take.
Some windows show the horizon of time that has not yet come,
of paths yet to be followed and choices that I have not yet made.
My soul has so many windows, I don't know where to look.
Some windows I need to open and some I need to close.
There are so many windows ... How can I decide?

Lilith - In to the Night - Chapter One Part Three
I
sink my teeth into his neck and feel the blood spurt into my mouth. He
struggles, but he's stuck in my clutches and there's no escape. Then I sip to
the last drop of its vital essence. Along with it comes your soul and your
memories. With this, I realize that he has a long history of perverse acts
ranging from abuses, assaults, and murders. Without much effort, I come to the
conclusion that I have done a great favor to the world by ending it. Not that I
care much, but sometimes I like to think that I am a kind of judge and executor
of those who are evil when I choose the worst of the human species as the main
option of the menu. However, most of the time I do not have time to be so
selective and selfless. When hunger comes night inside, instinct speaks louder
and I hunt. Simple like that.
As
soon as everything is over and I look at the scenery. My fearless defender
still remains unconscious. Near him lies the effeminate Curly, with an
incredulous expression on his face. Moe stood near the pole, where I crushed
his skull. Only Larry drafted an escape attempt, so he stayed away from his
companions. The result of that attempted robbery: three dead, one unconscious
and I bloodied. The blood is not mine, of course.

O Corvo - Edgar Allan Poe
The Raven ("O Corvo") é um poema do escritor e
poeta norte-americano Edgar Allan Poe.
No final
abateu sobre a alma do protagonista.Origem: Wikipédia, a enciclopédia livre.

Lillith - Into the Night - Chapter One, part two
As we walked, my gallant
gentleman began to speak of himself. Apparently, I pass some confidence to
him. There was something fraternal
about the way he behaved. He was not interested in me the way men tend to be
interested. He looked like an older brother accompanying his sister on the way
home after a party. I wondered what he would say if he knew that I have many
times his age. This whole fuck was
already becoming embarrassing. and it could be bad for my reputation if I had
one.
— Tonight my girl put an end to
our relationship. She kicked me in the butt, without even saying why. Wow! I
did not know it hurts so much.

Children of the night
Leaning
against a lamppost, she looked at the cars passing by distracted. She looked
like a twelve-year-old girl, maybe even less. She looked lost but did not move
for help when a police car passed across the street. In fact, she seemed to
struggle not to be noticed by the cops and followed them with her eyes as they
walked away. After that, she put her school bag on her shoulders and made a
crossing across the street, but was stopped by a taxi that stopped. A man got
out of the car.
The man
only noticed the girl after he paid for the taxi and turned to the sidewalk. If
he was surprised to see an unaccompanied girl at that time of night, he did not
show it. He just stared at her, amused by her natural charm.
The girl
wore a college uniform, consisting of a skirt, blouse and classic model of
school shoes.

Zaphir - The War of the Magi
The boy, although his weak
aspect, was holding the wooden club over his shoulders with apparent readiness.
His cap peak turned back and his very focused eye expression were not showing
his terrible fear to fail. Not showing too much confidence, he never had been
good with the wooden club game, but he was decided to cause a confident
impression to that girl who, holding a serene attitude, was watching the game
from the other corner. As always, her look was straight and tranquil. However,
that look was not enough to bring him enough confidence. Indeed, her look was
making him even more nervous and conscious about the contrast between the
confidence that she was showing and that shivering taking over his knees. Suddenly he noticed that her look was
toward the pitcher. That moment came and like a prelude brought to him a
disgrace. That unexpected downfall made him to pray in silence to all gods he
knew, even very sure that gods just don't care about the miserable fate of a
simple boy
who plays wooden club games.
The pitcher, showing a very angry expression, spited out. His name was Jorjão,
a tough and aggressive guy really decided to devastate him. Well, to be the
best friend of the only one girl in the group would be a problem. His lack of
skills on sports and her popularity made their friendship not understandable to
all. The small ball flew fast

Lilith - Into the night
Chapter One – First part
I like the smell of the night.
There are subtle nuances, brought by the serene and the light night breeze that
I could not feel during the day because my sense of smell is saturated with the
odors that men produce in their insane activities. Luckily I have night-time
habits. Right now, I breathe in the cold air and realize that there is a
different signature among the smells that come to me. Someone approaches and
stimulates my other senses. I realize it's a man. He is slightly drunk and
walks alone, hesitantly, but not because of the alcohol in his bloodstream. It
just seems stunned by some misfortune. Despite the drink ingested by the lonely
walker, I like the smell of this man! I almost regret what I'm about to do, but
I know it's just remnants of the consciousness of someone who is gone. Soon
again I concentrate and allow my fangs protrude. It's time to fulfill my
bloodthirsty nature, something I won on a moonless night. Believe me, I was
once human. Today, though, I make humans my favorite prey. There is in my acts
a kind of poetic justice if you allow me the melodramatic slip. I have my
reason to think so. The memories I bring with me, from the time when I was
still alive, do not let me look at men in an indulgent way. After my
transformation, I saw in each victim the tormentor who destroyed my body and my
soul. Today, after so much time, I still feel in it a kind of redemption for
that which once was. It is with this feeling that I watch my next prey as the
man approaches.
The Invisible Friend
The pot noise falling
overlapped the TV sound and woke the man suddenly. Annoyed, he tossed the empty
beer can toward the kitchen. The only way to put up with the boredom of the
life he led was to get drunk and sleep, but this process was interrupted
abruptly. The woman was washing clothes in the small service area outside the
house, so the one responsible for the noise was the boy.
That boy weeping was up to something in the
kitchen and would pay for it. For some time he had been looking for a pretext
whatever to get that little bastard. The boy seemed to have nothing else to do
in his miserable existence, only to disrupt him in his plans with his older
sister.
In one leap, the man ran to the
kitchen and pulled on the belt that held his frayed trousers. He found the boy trying to pick up the
pieces of the cookie jar. Upon realizing his entrance, The boy falls back. His
eyes bulge with dread as he notices the belt in his hands.
